Let's Work Together
To get started, consider and prepare your quilt for delivery or shipping.
PREP:
What size should my backing and batting be?

Here's an easy way to remember: Four-for-four! I require the backing and the batting to be an extra 4 inches extra ON ALL SIDES. For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your backing and batting should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, not smaller. Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask.
I'm passionate about being able to give you results you will love. Teamwork! :)
TIDY IT UP!
Please press your top and backing for me so that it's nice and tidy and ready for me to load. Please also clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can. You might not be able to get them all, but to prevent dark threads from shadowing through your quilt top, please don't skip this important step! (note: if you have batiks in your quilt, you should pretest the fabrics with water to confirm it does not bleed)
QUILTING CHOICE:
I want this to be fun for you and not overwhelming! You have the option of having me make the quilting decisions for you. I do have some great quilting designs available on the Digital Designs and Paper Designs links at the top of the page that you can look through. It all depends on your purpose for the quilt and..., sometimes "done" is a great choice!

You can also email me photos of your quilt after you book your quilt to help inspire ideas for your quilt project.
